From June 2023 to today, our Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia store at IL MERCATO EAT&MEET has been much more than just a shop; it has been a place where we have shared many wonderful moments together. For this reason, we would like to thank all our loyal customers who have chosen and supported us over the years.

However, starting in February 2026, and for several months, the entire gallery where our store is located will be temporarily closed for major renovations, which will transform this historic location into a concept store dedicated to food and fashion.

The Reggio Emilia press recently commented on this phase of the Mercato Eat and Meet renovation as follows:

“Oviesse will enter with a series of fashion and home furnishings stores: they will occupy a significant portion of the side facing the fish market, without prejudice to businesses that are already operating, such as the Anytime gym and MediaWorld, while the restaurant will remain on the Via Emilia side. This will allow for a different positioning and a mix of food and non-food items.”

“Daniele Menozzi, president of Galleria srl, which took over the management of the Eat&Meet Market in Reggio Emilia in the middle of last year, has unveiled another piece of the puzzle to launch the new phase of the structure in Via Emilia San Pietro, which the people of Reggio Emilia have always referred to more simply as the “covered market.”

“It will feature a series of stores selling fashion and home furnishings under new brand names,” said Menozzi. “They will occupy a significant portion of the mall and allow us to strengthen the non-food section. Thanks to new investments, we will create a new section dedicated to food.”

Because we at Ci Gusta are certainly not sitting idly by: while we wait for the work on our current location to be completed, so that we can continue to offer our winning formula to our fellow citizens of Reggio Emilia, we are already looking ahead with enthusiasm and are happy to announce the imminent opening of our new store, covering over 100 square meters, in the San Polo district of Venice.

The new premises will open on February 16, 2026, at San Polo 1463, on the corner of Calle de la Madoneta and Campiello dei Meloni.
After the tourist districts of San Marco and Castello, Ci Gusta is now taking root in the historic and popular district of San Polo, so dear to true Venetians.
This upcoming opening will therefore represent the fifth store in the most dreamt-of and famous city in the world, Venice, where a corner of Reggio Emilia will strengthen its presence alongside major international food brands and more.
