FC Südtirol made its home debut in the preliminary round in a one-off match against the Lake Garda team, who won the game.
FC Südtirol‘s 2022-2023 season officially opens with the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Lega Serie A match. In the preliminary round of the event, coach Lamberto Zauli‘s team faced Feralpisalò, one of the four Serie C teams admitted to the national competition, at the Druso Stadium.
The match ended 1-3. After a couple of good chances for the hosts, it was the guests who scored the first goal of the match thanks to Siligardi’s conclusion that Poluzzi touched but couldn’t hold back. In the second half, Feralpisalò doubles on 4′ from Siligardi’s goal and scored the third point on 7′ on a counter-attack led by Balestrero and finished by Cernigoi for 0-3. The “biancorossi” shortened the score in the 11th minute with a personal action of the newly-entered Voltan who led up to the area, converged towards the centre and kicked, beating Pizzignacco: 1-3.
The match was played with the formula of the dry match that allows Feralpisalò to pass the preliminary round and enter the “thirty-second” where they will face Udinese.
During the match, the official Ci Gusta advertising banner was broadcast for the first time on the screens bordering the field and was seen by the numerous fans who came to support the team during its first event of the season. In addition, the Ci Gusta logo continues to be present on the official shorts and testifies to our support for FC Sudtirol.
Next commitment: Sunday 14 August with the historic first match of the Serie B Championship, which will take place at the Rigamonti Stadium in Brescia.
Ci Gusta is ready to support FC Südtirol!
