Press release
The red-and-whites club has extended its premium partner agreement with the prestigious Emilia-based company, whose brand will appear on match shorts with a renewed and eye-catching graphic design
FC Südtirol is pleased to make official the renewal of the agreement with the premium partner “Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia” also in the next season, the second in a row in the Serie B championship.
The red and white club has further extended with mutual satisfaction a valuable partnership, which includes, among other things, the renewal of the sponsorship of the match-shorts with the brand “Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia” that will continue to be prominently displayed on the right side, as happened in the second part of the triumphant 2021-2022 season and in the last cadet championship, concluded by the red and white team with a historic result.
The prestigious company based in Reggio Emilia, which operates internationally, has signed a new agreement with the red and white club that further strengthens the club’s propensity to establish relationships with companies outside the region that fully share the club’s growth and development project and pursue common goals and vision.
This year the team’s match shorts will feature the renewed logo and new name: Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia. A new identity and an updated graphic layout that stands out for its modern and contemporary style, but strongly evocative of its origin, the city of Reggio Emilia, all accompanied by the daisy, a flower that stands for love of nature and the desire to offer more and more quality food and vegan-friendly options. The style used in the creation of the logo is deliberately reminiscent of handwriting, because it wants to bring out the concept of craftsmanship and attention to detail that distinguish the brand’s philosophy. In addition to the FCS competition shorts, the new logo will also soon appear in shops opening in the UK, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which will feature this new identity. The Emilian company is happy and proud to celebrate this milestone in its history through the renewal of the agreement with FC Südtirol.
“FC Südtirol expresses great satisfaction and is proud to continue the relationship with the premium partner ‘Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia’,” emphasises operations director, Hannes Fischnaller, “and I would like to thank Dr. Dario Rabboni for convincingly extending the collaboration with the northernmost professional club in Italy, giving continuity to the previous and significant agreements with our club, the first ever in football in the history of ‘Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia’. Partnerships crowned by particularly significant results, widely appreciated’.
Cooking and football have always been the greatest passions of Italians, and although they seem to be two very different fields, they actually have several points in common: there are now countless episodes in which terms from the culinary world are used to define football actions and facts (e.g. ‘the spoon’ or ‘calcio-champagne’) expressions that manage to give colour and flavour to the sport most loved by Italians! And it is precisely in the field of flavours that ‘Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia’ comes into play, the franchising project with a deep Italian soul created in 2011 by Emilian manager with an international vocation Dario Rabboni. From breakfast to dinner, from gelato breaks to aperitifs, “Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia” is the ideal place where consumers can enjoy the cult foods of the Italian tradition such as gelato, pasta, coffee and pizza, to be savoured both in their most traditional form and also with a modern twist. All this has allowed ‘Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia’ to open over 25 successful restaurants in more than ten countries around the world in just a few years.
“The secret ingredient of “Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia” is team spirit,” emphasises Dr. Dario Rabboni, the manager of the company’s Emilia-based company, “A fundamental element to create winning creations every day to delight the customer’s palate, the same passion that FC Südtirol, symbol of an entire territory, the province of Bolzano, has been showing for some time, in the context of a constant path of growth that has led the red and white club to Serie B and to a historic result.
Thus continues the synergy between “Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia” and FC Südtirol, once again in the field together to support two excellences such as good food and football.
