The opening of the new Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia in the Iraqi city of Erbil is just around the corner, but local gelato lovers have already had a sneak peek of what they will find in this new location.
The Ci Gusta Erbil team took part in the 2026 Ice Cream Festival, held from August 27th to 29th at Erbil Avenue. The event brought together many families, young people, and gelato enthusiasts of all ages in a modern setting that is quickly becoming one of the city’s most popular gathering spots.
The festival was packed with entertainment, games, and live music, making it the perfect opportunity to offer a preview of the gelato selection that will be available at the new Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia in Erbil. The team at the festival prepared delicious samples of both fruit flavors and rich cream options, complete with mouth-watering variegates and toppings, showcasing what customers will soon be able to order at the new store.

The Erbil location will span an area of 400 square meters, aiming to become a welcoming social space where guests can enjoy not only gelato but also a wide variety of both sweet and savory specialties.
Additionally, this will be the very first Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia location to offer a drive-through takeaway service, catering to those who are short on time but still want a great lunch break or a quick, delicious gelato pickup.
