The official countdown has begun: this August, we are opening the doors to our brand-new location in Pointe-Noire, the vibrant economic capital of the Republic of the Congo, often called the “Monte Carlo of Africa”, which has a population of 1.3 million inhabitants.
This new opening in Africa confirms Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia as one of the most successful franchises on the continent, thanks to how we blend Italian culinary tradition with the incredible energy of the local people.
We chose Pointe-Noire because it is a truly unique city with a strong cosmopolitan spirit. Driven by its major port and oil industry, it is home to a vast international community, a lively nightlife, and breathtaking natural beauty—from the spectacular beaches of the Côte Sauvage to the stunning Diosso Gorges.
In this fast-paced, ever-moving metropolis, Ci Gusta Reggio Emilia aims to become the go-to spot for any time of day. We have crafted a versatile, delicious menu featuring all our signature specialties. This includes our famous gelato—perfect for cooling down on warm tropical days—as well as mouthwatering crepes, refreshing drinks, and, of course, Italian classics like pasta and pizza, all made with high-quality ingredients.
The venue is almost ready, boasting a modern and welcoming design. It is the perfect place for both locals and the city’s large expat community looking for a little taste of Italy abroad.
